About Beach Cities Psychotherapy

We are an established practice in Hermosa Beach offering in-person and telehealth sessions, as well as walk-and-talk sessions on the strand.

Our offices are located across the street from the beach in Hermosa, located just blocks from the pier, within walking distance of everything Hermosa Beach has to offer by the beach.

Supervision is provided by Whitney Boole, MA, LMFT and Certified EMDR Therapist practicing EMDR for over ten years and author of You Got This: Healing Through Divorce.

Therapist Position

Responsibilities:

  • Provide trauma-informed therapy to clients, with a focus on healing and transformation.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of like-minded clinicians to support client growth and well-being.
  • Maintain a client load with availability for an eventual caseload of 10-20 clients and be willing to build to that caseload over time.
  • Embrace direct yet compassionate communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Attend lively and engaged consultation sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Therapist with a strong interest in trauma therapy.
  • Trained in EMDR or enrollment in EMDR training required
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring the highest standard of client care.
  • A client-centered approach to therapy, prioritizing the individual needs of clients.
  • Comfortable with direct communication and receptive to feedback.
  • Openness to networking and building professional relationships.
  • Availability to maintain and grow a caseload of 10-20 clients over time.
